From Narita Airport to Mito
The nearest train station to the Mito Campus is JR (Japan Rail) Mito.
(1) Bus (Rose Liner)
- The easiest way to get Mito is by bus called "Rose Liner". The fare is 3,000 YEN one way. It takes 130 minutes from the Narita Aiport. The bus stop from/to the Narita airport is "MITO STATION THE SOUTH EXIT BUSSTOP NO.4".
- No researvation is required for bus from the Airport, but reservation is required to the Airport. See the Rose Liner web site for more detail.
(2) Limited Express Train (via Tokyo)
- Take the Keisei Line bound for Ueno from the airport terminal (Limited Express: about 1,500yen or Skyliner: about 2,400yen). The trains run frequently, and take about 40-50 minutes from the Narita Aiport.
- Next go to the JR Ueno station, which is in brief walking distance from Keisei Ueno station, and take "Hitachi" or "Tokiwa" limited express ("JOBAN" Line). You will arrive at the Mito Station in about 70 minutes and costs about 3,500 YEN . You can also get on the Hitachi or Tokiwa superexpress at JR Tokyo or Shinagawa station.
